X-Pac VX21 Fabric
X-Pac VX21 is a sailcloth laminate built from four bonded layers. A tough nylon face, a polyester X-Ply grid that resists tearing, a thin film core, and a smooth backing. The result is a fabric that stays light, holds its shape, and handles daily city wear.

What is X-Pac VX21 fabric?
X-Pac VX21 is a lightweight, structured, weather-resistant laminate fabric originally developed for offshore sailmaking. It holds its shape without added stiffeners, resists abrasion, and sheds water on contact. We chose it because it delivers durability and weather protection without the bulk or weight of traditional ballistic nylon.
What size laptop fits in the City Pack?
The dedicated laptop compartment fits laptops up to 15.6 inches. The L-shape side access lets you pull your laptop out without opening the main compartment.
Is the bag water resistant?
Yes. The X-Pac VX21 fabric is inherently water resistant and the zippers are designed to minimize water entry. It will handle rain and wet conditions, but it is not fully waterproof or submersible.
How much can the City Pack actually hold?
21L goes further than you'd expect. The pocket layout is designed to distribute your gear across dedicated zones rather than dumping everything into one cavity. Most users comfortably carry a laptop, charger, cables, a change of clothes, and daily essentials without the bag feeling overstuffed. It's built for daily carry and short trips, not week-long travel.
Does it work as a carry-on or personal item?

Can I attach it to rolling luggage?
Yes. The City Pack has a luggage pass-through on the back panel so it can slide over the handle of a rolling suitcase.
Does the City Pack hold its shape when empty?
Yes. The structured X-Pac fabric means the bag stands upright and maintains its silhouette whether it's fully loaded or nearly empty.
What does the 180 degree clamshell opening do?
It lets you lay the bag flat and open like a suitcase, so you can see and access everything inside at once. It makes packing and unpacking significantly faster, especially for travel.
What is the magnetic chest buckle?
It's a removable chest strap that uses magnets to snap into place. Easy to clip on and off one-handed, and fully removable when you don't need it.
